VM i Melges 24 i Travemünde

This film covers the Danish sailor Mark Flindt, the winner Harry Melges, and their crews, during a five day battle for the gold medal at the Melges 24 Worlds 2002. 74 boats participated in the race in Travemünde, Germany.

Equipped with cameras on board the command ship, in dinghies, in helicopter, and on the boats, we experience the tough in-fights on the water along with the hard teamwork on board. The film is a

documentary loaded with action, bringing the intense atmosphere and the saltwater out of the screen.

After the documentary feature, a half-hour cocktail will highlight special full-length shots from the races without commentary. These exciting shots are not shown anywhere else, and will cover starting procedures, mark-roundings and gybings.
