Mystery Ship  – The loss of the København

On 14 December 1928, the training ship København departed from the capital of Buenos Aires, Argentina, bound for Australia. Three days later, the ship’s telegraph reported that all was well on board.

This was the very last sign of life from the enormous vessel.

At an unknown position somewhere in the South Atlantic, the world’s largest sailing ship sank, taking its crew of 60 men with it to the depths.
No wreckage has ever been found.
